Location:
The Farmhouse is in Messina province (north-east of Sicily) located in the old Sicilian town of Mistretta (980 metres above sea level) in the heart of Nebrodi Natural Reserve Park..
The Property: An antique house emerging from within a two-acre park, where in the 1800s statesmen of Mistretta used this beautiful country-house for breeding different farm animals and take some rest away from the main city. Now the property is entirely restored and run by the same family.
There are six double rooms all with private bathrooms with showers. All are equipped with central heating for cooler days.
Four rooms are set in the amazing courtyard.
Two other rooms are located in the penthouse of this lovely Farmhouse.

The Kitchen is jealously handled by the owner, in which, using local products, offers a variety of traditional regional recipes.
Fish linguate, Sarde A Beccafico, Squash Meat rolls, Steak prepared both on the grill and in the wood burning oven, “Pasta Baciata”, Pasta Paolina, Cassata and Dolci di Pasta Reale ( traditional Sicilian desserts).
The owner also offers frequent visits to local producers to sample cold cuts, cheeses, olive oils, vegetables, desserts and wine from the region.
Surrounding Area
The nature lovers can enjoy the beauty of the woods and the lakes and follow the itinerary suggested by the Nebrodi Park officials.
Take a walk around the historical centre of Mistretta, admire the towns garden ( a 5 minute walk with attractions for children) the antique architecture, the cathedral, take a walk along the small winding golden stone streets that will take you up to visit the castle, an experience that cannot be renounced.
A slow drive on the small country roads that pass through Nicosia, Sperlina, Enna, Randazzo, Castelbuono, Gangi, Maniace, Agira, and being taken away by the beauty of these small very antique and full of curiosity villages is an itinerary of real historical-artistic interest.
Santo Estefano di Camastra (15 minutes), famous for its ceramic arts and crafts. Cefalu is only 30 minutes away from the farmhouse.
Santa Agata Militello (30 minutes) where you can take a ferry to visit the Eolie Islands.
The sea
The Margi-S. Stefanos beach is only 15 minutes away by car.
The Castel di Tusas beach is only 20 minutes away.
It is even worth taking a trip to Capo dOrlando (San Gregorio) or to Cefalu
